Both prey and predators use camouflage for survival. Humans sometimes use it to hide from the world as well. I approached this concept thinking about the concealing nature of animal prints and the other environmental aspects within the painting slowly exposed themselves. Even as the woman is revealed, I attempted to keep her mysterious.
