Terms and Conditions
The cost to create a page for each piece is $25, and when the item sales, E&S gets 25% of the sell price. The purchaser pays all S&H costs. The costs to package and ship the art is determined by the seller after we provide the purchaser address. When the purchaser provides us with payment, we process the payment and notify the seller to ship the art. Once the buyer receives the art, they have 24 hours to approve the purchase we will forward payment to the seller. If the art arrives damaged, the seller is responsible for having the item picked-up, and we refund the buyers price paid. If the art arrives in good condition, and is as represented we forward
payment to the seller.
Seller Provides E&S Gallery with:
Artist name, title of the art, medium of the artwork, art dimension, print edition details if applicable, and the year it was created A clear photo of the framed artwork and framed size A full photo of the image that shows artist signature, and if applicable print number, title, and any other photos documenting edition detail image. Confirm relevant provenance that will accompany the art, such as appraisal, certificate of authenticity, exhibition history if applicable, and/or any other paperwork that will accompany the art S&H price, which must include proper packaging and insurance. It is advisable to get estimates from a reputable shipper like the UPS Store, or other experienced package handler. Quote should be based on the farthest distance within the Continental U.S. (For example, for a seller in Miami, the farthest distance may be Seattle.) The shipper can give you that.
E&S will create a separate page on EandSGallery.com, send an email to its’ client national collectors alerting them to the availability of the artwork, and provide relevant detail about the art.
The buyer will pay E&S Gallery the agreed upon price, including S/H. E&S will provide buyer information to the seller, who will then package and ship the art to the seller. The buyer will have 24 hours to inspect the art for damages and to ensure the art is as represented, after which time
E&S will pay the seller in full minus the 25% Resale fee.
